Today Campbell Page has taken another significant step to national reconciliation by launching its new Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) to guide the organisation’s contributions to national reconciliation over the next two years.

The October 2024 to October 2026 Campbell Page RAP connects the Campbell Page purpose with opportunities to advance its reconciliation efforts and outlines a focus on connecting its core services and expertise with reconciliation actions within and outside the organisation.

“With a history deeply rooted in community service, Campbell Page plays an essential role in positive change by preparing people for work and engaging meaningfully and authentically with the local communities where we work to create, capture and connect people to jobs,” Campbell Page chief executive Paul Barbaro said.

“Our focus over this RAP will be continuing to equip our people with the skills and cultural knowledge to be a well-informed organisation and one that partners with and walks together with its Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees, clients and stakeholders in community.”

With a workforce comprising almost 11 per cent First Nations employees, Campbell Page has ensured its RAP has been informed by and the insights and learnings of its Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees and their deep connections with Country and community. An Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Youth Advisory Group will help to inform delivery of the RAP, putting youth leadership at the centre of advancing the Campbell Page contribution to reconciliation.

One of Campbell Page’s areas of work is the Mogo Aboriginal Preschool on the NSW south coast which provides early learning for three-to six-year-olds.

“I look forward to seeing this preschool continue to achieve great education outcomes for children. Campbell Page’s purpose focuses clearly on employment as a critical condition of economic equity,” Paul said. 

“The enthusiasm within Campbell Page to make sure our next generation of leaders is shaping RAP actions now and in the future is inspiring.

“Our aspiration is to deliver on the goals within this RAP and play our part in the respect and shared understanding that can support reconciliation in the communities in which we live and work.”
